The
mission of the Albuquerque Coin Club is to promote interest in
numismatics through education of members, encouraging members
to conduct research on history and geography relating to numismatics,
and providing a forum for discussion and exchange of information as well
as fellowship.
We
encourage young members to develop greater interest in history and
geography through numismatics.

The Albuquerque Coin Club meet on the last
Monday of each month except for the month of December.
Meetings
begin at 7 p.m. at the
MCM Elegante' 2020 Menaul, NE (corner of Menaul and University).
Viewing
of auction items begins at 6:30 p.m.
prior to each monthly meeting.
An
auction of numismatic items submitted by
its members is held after the business portion of meetings.

The
Albuquerque Coin Club also has a
lending library of books and media that members can check
out for a month
at a time.
Door
prizes are awarded at monthly meetings.
Visitors and guests are welcome to attend and participate.
The
Albuquerque Coin Club also has
occasional mid-month seminars starting at 7 p.m. at
The

Membership is open to anyone interested in
numismatics.
Family/Regular
membership (for those over
18) is $15 per year, and for Young
Numismatist’s (YN membership)
(for
those under 18) is $5 per year.
Members
receive a monthly newsletter, by
e-mail or by regular mail.
Members
can vote for Club officers.
Members
can submit items to the monthly
auction held before the meeting.
And
members receive a reduced rate for
tables at the Club's Spring and Fall coin shows.
Family
memberships receive one newsletter
per household, and only adult members can vote for club officers.

The
Club sponsors two coin shows each year. 
A
Spring Coin show is held on
the second weekend of
April, and a Fall
Coin Show is held on the
second weekend of October,
which
is the during the Albuquerque
International Balloon Fiesta. 
The
Club has an Annual
Picnic, which is held in
early June and a holiday dinner in December.
In
addition, the Club provides support in
setting up and judging numismatic exhibits at the New
Mexico State Fair, which
runs in September of each year.
